If you are an aspiring entrepreneur, businessman or woman you may be aware of the importance of sending professional email messages. Below are some strategies to make your business emails more professional.



Make The Message Clear:
Write the email as if you were writing a proper letter, use proper spelling, grammar and formatting. Do not blob everything together without paragraphs, you are still writing a professional message that has different points that should be divided accordingly. Make thet message consistant, do not jump to a different topic the message should have a clear purpose and focus.

Use A Professional Email Address:
A professional email address will help you stand out as a business. No longer is it acceptable to have yourbusiness@aol.com or yourbusiness@yahoo.com. A free email address will diminish your reputation and cause users to fear spam or fraud when seeing the from address. A popular solution is to purchase a domain name through companies such as godaddy.com or namecheap.com and set up an email address along the lines of yourname@yourcompany.com (in my case I have sales@widget-it.com, jbotte@widget-it.com and admin@widget-it.com for business emails). Always be respectful when sending an email; this information is in writing and can come back to you. CC (Carbon Copy) all people involved, if your working on a project and are requesting information for others you may want CC your project manager.
