My name is Ian Ross and I am a junior accounting major at Bryant University. I am the current sponsorship chairman for Bryant CEO. Ever since the first CEO meeting I attended my freshman year, I have been very impressed with the entrepreneurial enthusiasm at Bryant University. It is a great feeling to have a core group of young motivated individuals around me to assist in any personal business ideas that I have dreamt up. With the assistance of the organization I was able to successfully launch my first business in 2009.
The sponsorship committee is responsible for raising money to fund all of the organization’s exciting events. The funds are raised using various innovative methods. The most common way we fundraise is through donations from various companies. In addition to the donation, we work to form a tight professional connection with the “sponsor” company. Our committee is also currently selling discount cards to students and faculty that offer prearranged discounts to local restaurants and stores.
