Entreprenurial Spirit "Life at any time can become difficult: life at any time can become easy. It all depends upon how one adjusts oneself to life."

Eric Slater
Name: Eric Slater
Position: Vice President
Class: 2010

I am from Long Island, New York and am going to be a senior at Bryant University.  I major in accounting with a minor in law.  After graduation I plan on starting a career in accounting with the hopes of owning my own firm.   My major interests include eco-friendly start-ups, real estate, and the the stock market.  I enjoy boating, extreme sports, and the beach.

The Collegiate Entrepreneurs Organization (CEO) has had a major impact on my education as I have progressed over the years at Bryant.  When I first came to Bryant two things were evident;  I wanted to gain a better understanding of business and eventually become my own boss.  CEO has helped me achieve both of these needs.  After attending a meeting freshmen year I was hooked.  Since then I have participated in several events CEO has hosted.  My involvement in CEO has contributed to a network of friends that I remain in close contact with.  As Vice President I want to create the same fun, innovative, and entrepreneurial spirited environment I was introduced to my freshmen year.  I hope that in doing so I can inspire students to realize that nothing is impossible and the possibilities are endless.
